Introducing our improved Bakewell Pud gin

After taking on board feedback from our customers and friends, we’ve tweaked our Bakewell Pud Gin recipe a little.

We’ve added more cherry, to give it a slightly sweeter finish. Unlike many ‘pink gins’ it’s not sweetened by adding extra sugar, so the sweetness comes just from the fruit. Our Bakewell Pud Gin is distilled on a traditional copper pot still using nine botanicals, including English cherries, raspberries, toasted flaked almond and vanilla, and then macerated in cherries to lift the fruit notes.

Try it this summer with tonic or lemonade and garnish with a cherry, or raspberries.

If you fancy shaking up a cocktail, try our Bakewell Sour recipe…

  • 50ml Bakewell Pud Gin
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 25ml cherry syrup or cordial

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with some ice, shake, then strain into a coupe or Martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.
