Tours & Shop Update January 2021
Following the recent Government announcement, England has been put into a 3rd National Lockdown (Stay at Home). Our distillery tours are therefore suspended.
Due to the challenges that the changing Covid-19 circumstances create for a small businesses, in terms of planning activities and staffing, and prioritising the health & safety of our staff and visitors, we have decided that we will not restart our tours until 27th March 2021 (at the earliest and subject to ongoing Government guidance). This has been a difficult decision as we love having visitors at the Distillery, and we look forward to welcoming you back later in the year. No online tour bookings will be released until we know when our tours will re-start. Tour vouchers are valid for a year and will be extended for the period of any lock down.
In the meantime, we’ll continue to offer our Founders Zoom tastings which remain available to book through January, February and March (we’ll be adding more dates for April and beyond soon). Our Founder has been hosting these for over 8 months and they’ve been great fun with over 400 people joining us from all over the UK and Europe.
Our Distillery shop has been closed for 14 months due to the November 2019 flooding in the Derwent Valley which unfortunately damaged our on-site bridge. We’re really happy to say that the bridge has now been repaired so we’re looking forward to re-opening the shop in 2021.
The shop is currently closed and we will review weekly. Click and collect unfortunately won’t be available during this time.
Our online shop remains fully open, and throughout January we’re offering free postage & packing on all orders over £45.
For February onwards we’ll provide more information on our physical shop as soon as we can.
