Cask Aged Rum
A rum to savour. 30-day fermentation the rum has a real depth of flavour and complexity, all coming from the distilled spirit. Aged for 28 months in virgin oak cask no.27 with a level 4 char from Kelvin Cooperage. The higher the degree of char the more intense the reaction between the wood and the alcohol, creating more vanilla, more spice & woody notes.
Cask Aged Rum distilled & bottled in Derbyshire 45% ABV
Cream soda, tinned peaches, honey and salted caramel on the nose.
Lemon meringue, candied ginger, cinnamon rolls on the palate.
Bonfire toffee, chilli flakes, marmalade on the finish.
SERVE: We like to drink it neat, but it also pairs beautifully with ginger ale and a wedge of lime.
