What you need to know …..

Like all businesses we’ve had to rethink the way we do things to keep you and our team safe.

  • We provide everyone with their own glassware to use during our tastings, and to take home as a keepsake after the visit
  • We have hand sanitiser available to guests whilst at the distillery
  • We undergo regular visitor risk assessments with all our staff and your host we’ll take you through a short safety briefing at the start of your visit
  • Cleaning and sanitation procedures between tours

Please read on below as it’s important that you and members of your group are familiar with the following information, provided to help ensure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys their visit to White Peak Distillery.

  1. All bookings must be made through the online system. For each booking we require a lead contact to provide their name and contact telephone number.
  2. All places on the tour must be booked and paid for in advance.  Visitor numbers per tour are strictly limited.
  3. We ask that you arrive 10 mins before your scheduled start time. If arriving by car, please park in the Distillery car park.
  4. Clothing & Footwear: Sensible shoes should be worn and clothing suitable for the outdoor conditions on the day. The Still House tends to be cooler than the outdoor temperature, so please come prepared.
  5. Find us: White Peak Distillery, Derwent Wire Works, Matlock Road, Ambergate, Derby, DE56 2HE. In Google maps (or equivalent), the post code will take you to the main car park where you can follow on-site signs to the Distillery.  Access across the on-site bridge may be controlled by barrier when deliveries, etc are taking place, please wait at the barrier to be let through by security once safe.  Please obey 10mph speed restrictions and watch out for pedestrians and other site users.  Note: The Wire Works is a working site: if arriving on foot please report directly to security in the main car park.
