All across England, from the traditional to the new, we celebrate a shared mindset focused on quality, innovation and a long-term approach to creating great products that celebrate the craft of the maker and their communities. While times have changed, and many factories have closed, a living legacy of making things the proper way remains deep-rooted in Derbyshire
To celebrate English Tourism Week, we’ve teamed up with Derbyshire visitor attraction, Denby Pottery Village, to go behind the scenes in their historic working pottery and bring you a ‘Derbyshire Maker Experience’. Named after the village in Derbyshire where the pottery is made, the Denby factory uses the clay deposit from its Derbyshire site. Every piece of their made to last ceramics passes through 20 pairs of hands before arriving at your home to be enjoyed forever.
The lucky winner will enjoy an invite for 2 people for a:
- Pottery Tour and Afternoon Tea at Denby Pottery; and
- Distillery or Whisky Tour at White Peak Distillery, including a choice of either one 70cl bottle of Wire Works Single Malt Whisky (Caduro) OR one 70cl of Shining Cliff Derbyshire Dry Gin
