Tasting Notes Â
Chocolate – blackcurrant & strawberry jam – cinnamon buns.
Nose: Strawberry laces, furniture polish, orange oil, candied ginger, wine gums, caramel fondant.
Palate: Blackcurrant cordial, sultanas, liquorice, maraschino cherries, clove, cinnamon, milk chocolate, condensed milk, cranberries.Â
Finish: Dark chocolate, icing sugar, chilli flakes, freshly roasted coffee, strawberry jam.
Wire Works Amarone Wine release is a dual maturation of our lightly-peated spirit, initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and finished in first fill Amarone wine barriques. Back in 2023 Amarone was the first in a wine series that landed well with our followers and this year we have an older sibling – expect jam and cinnamon buns.
